pls can anyone show me how to host server but make it easy for me to understand

I think the guide makes it pretty simple. Get the files, set the server keys and configs to your liking, port forward, and launch.

The one that doesn't mention any files, server keys, or configs, and just tells me to port-forward and have my friends connect from custom games? Yeah, this doesn't work. Is there another guide I should be following? -
