bo2 freezes after i join a server

whenever i go to mp serverlist and try to join a server the game shows the loading screen then freezes.

What antivirus do you use? Have you tried alt tabbing out and see any specific errors or does it crash? Also your files could be corrupted, try this https://forum.plutonium.pw/topic/6353/how-to-repair-your-t6-installation

HannesC malwarebytes and avast. When i alt tab, it shows my steam big picture (playing with controller, probably steams the issue) bo2 and pluto bootstrapper. If steam is the issue, can you comment a link for controller support?

Plus you don't need 2 AVs running at the same time. Imo avast is worse than malwarebytes so uninstall that. And just to make sure AV wasn't causing the problem, add exclusions to %localappdata%/Plutonium in whichever AV you decide to keep.
