500gb HDD
-
LOGOXX123 the game is 13.6GB with all dlcs, the plutonium client is another 0.2GB or so.. so you have plenty of free hdd space.
Map loading time has nothing to do with the space on your hdd but the speed in which data can be read from the hdd, the speed of a 20GB hdd can be the same as the speed of a 500GB hdd.. but why are you asking this? Are you saying your game takes 1:30 to load a map? -
Dss0 its take 2min and a supporter said you kick when its over 1,30min and then it says you disconnectet the cod bo2 servers its jusz saying in zombies in multiplayer i can join all. And i just want play with other people and not evey time alone.
-
LOGOXX123 yes exactly, after 90 seconds the server drops your connection because it thinks you're no longer there.
You can only fix this by getting a faster hdd or a faster pc altogether.
Is your game stored on an external hdd?
What are your pc specs? -
Dss0 so thats an intel pentium cpu 2020m 2,40ghz 4gb ram and yeah xD its old but i have a 2018 hp laptop they are have intel celeron 3060n bro thats not very good they cant play 1080p 60fps video on youtube but they have 1tb hdd or ssd idk i need to look tomorrow but i have there low fps and here so 40-80fps and i have all background apps deactivated and ultimate performance mode eveything but still so but multiplayer a bit more and i think its from 2012 xD
-
LOGOXX123 you can use this tool to find out how fast your hdd is, start the benchmark and post a screenshot when it's done: https://osdn.net/frs/redir.php?m=tuna&f=crystaldiskmark%2F73958%2FCrystalDiskMark8_0_1.exe
-
Dss0 screenshot but i can it say its minimum 83,3mb sec and mximum 108,mb sec
-
LOGOXX123 that is bad?
-
LOGOXX123 no not really, shouldn't take you 2 minutes to load the map with 90MB/s read. It can also be your internet connection tho.. or your cpu which is barely at the bo2 minimum requirements.
-
Dss0 my internet is so 100mbit but by 5ghz 300mbit pro sec i think i will next time play with a LAN cable Dss0 you helped me so much. i am very grateful and you always wrote back very quickly. thnak you very much you are a very good supporter

I will weight in my knowledge on this. From my findings of users with this issue the drive speed isn't usually the problem, not to say to rule it out completely but usually the issue stems from an underpowered iGPU (Intel Graphics) that isn't suitable to run Black Ops 2, this is what causes the super long load times. You can test this by loading solo and timing how long it takes you.
Long story short the timeout period of plutonium is twice as long as the official steam version to allow people with lower spec hardware connect. This limit cannot be increased further due to other negative side effects it would cause. If your pc is simply too slow to load the map on Plutonium then there's nothing we can do about that other than suggest you invest in a PC capable of gaming.

do you think it could be vram related? It's possible to assign more ram to the intel hd graphics.

do you think it could be vram related? It's possible to assign more ram to the intel hd graphics.
https://www.wikihow.com/Increase-Dedicated-Video-RAM-on-Windows-Laptops-with-Intel-GraphicsCould well be. Worth a try LOGOXX123
But given you have only 4GB of ram there's not a lot of headroom with the game consuming roughly 1gb of it + win 10 ussage. -
H3X1C afaik you can only assign 512MB anyways which might still work.. on the lowest settings.
-
-
Dss0 i tryiet or tryed xD first the method 1 and the says chip type: intel hd graphics family, dac typ: internal........ total available graphics memory 1824 mb
dedicated video memory: 128mb
system video memory: mb
shared system memory 1696mb
-
LOGOXX123 step 1 just tells you how much vram you have, it doesn't tell you how to increase it, that is covered in step 2.
-
Dss0 i know but the processor name is not on the FAQ list. Can you ehlp me to get scretched for more fps because with intek hd raphics control panel i canĀ“t do the graphics for scretched myself.
-
LOGOXX123 it's up to 1792MB. Just try step 2 and set it to 512 first, if it still doesn't work try 1024, any more than that might not leave enough ram for the system and programs running in the background.
