@LOGOXX123 you can use this tool to find out how fast your hdd is, start the benchmark and post a screenshot when it's done: https://osdn.net/frs/redir.php?m=tuna&f=crystaldiskmark%2F73958%2FCrystalDiskMark8_0_1.exe

@LOGOXX123 no not really, shouldn't take you 2 minutes to load the map with 90MB/s read. It can also be your internet connection tho.. or your cpu which is barely at the bo2 minimum requirements.

I will weight in my knowledge on this. From my findings of users with this issue the drive speed isn't usually the problem, not to say to rule it out completely but usually the issue stems from an underpowered iGPU (Intel Graphics) that isn't suitable to run Black Ops 2, this is what causes the super long load times. You can test this by loading solo and timing how long it takes you.

Long story short the timeout period of plutonium is twice as long as the official steam version to allow people with lower spec hardware connect. This limit cannot be increased further due to other negative side effects it would cause. If your pc is simply too slow to load the map on Plutonium then there's nothing we can do about that other than suggest you invest in a PC capable of gaming.

do you think it could be vram related? It's possible to assign more ram to the intel hd graphics.

Could well be. Worth a try @LOGOXX123
But given you have only 4GB of ram there's not a lot of headroom with the game consuming roughly 1gb of it + win 10 ussage.

H3X1C afaik you can only assign 512MB anyways which might still work.. on the lowest settings.

@LOGOXX123 step 1 just tells you how much vram you have, it doesn't tell you how to increase it, that is covered in step 2.

@LOGOXX123 it's up to 1792MB. Just try step 2 and set it to 512 first, if it still doesn't work try 1024, any more than that might not leave enough ram for the system and programs running in the background.
