I need help fixing the settings in my dedicated server

So I am making a dedicated server and none of my settings are right on notepad++ and I’m very confused on what to do since there aren’t many good tutorials online. But when I go into the server it won’t let me choose a class and it’s stuck on a different game mode

Roachhh server config is pretty self-explanatory.
you can change the gametype by modifying these 2 lines:

exec gamesettings_tdm.cfg

set_gametype tdm

Above that should be a list of all game modes and their short names.

Dss0 I already did that and it still on tdm when I put ffa and when I go into the game I can’t use my classes even though I’ve been changing the restrictions I’m so confused on what to do

Roachhh can you post your config files here so i can have a look?
"ffa" is not the gametype name for free for all btw, it's "dm".

Dss0 okay I’ll get the files and I know I just put ffa cause I can’t call it dm it doesn’t sit right with me

Roachhh Servers do not have feelings, you need to call exactly what the config tells you, in this instance, you need to specify dm as that is what the game type is called internally.

Chase I’m done with that part of my server can you help me with adding the vanillaTS menu to my server. I got it to work 1 time and it stopped working and I have no clue what to do
