When I play BO2 zombies and multiplayer the game will close soon after I boot up without any error message. Does anyone know how I can fix this issue?

I have done the repair, I use McAfee for my antivirus so this is likely what is causing the issue. Thank you, I will just leave it

robos mcafee is not very good and for sure causing this, just uninstall it. Windows defender has a better virus detection ratio anyways.

I've tried both your methods Dss0 and my game is still crashing. I might be able to get a game or 2 before it crashes

Disabling nvidia overlay might be doing the trick

After lots of messing around, a fresh install and disabling nvidia sound in device manager seems to have stopped the crashes
