Failed to check for updates

What antivirus do you use? If you use BitDefender, BullGuard or any such AVs, disable their firewall option and launch Pluto again.
And btw, VPN should work regardless. Try another VPN if this doesn't work either.
-
i disabled the firewall, i disabled windows defender and i used a different protocol and it didnt worked.
-
niggsnigg Did you try a Vpn.?
-
Mr.MaPSaBino yes, and i've tried multiple protocols
-
niggsnigg You still didn't answer the question. What's your antivirus? Even if it is disabled it doesn't matter
-
@lResxt windows defender
-
niggsnigg Then you might be doing something wrong like not letting Plutonium through your VPN or something. I don't see how nothing would work especially with a VPN on unless you use a free trash VPN? Maybe this can help you https://plutonium.pw/docs/update/#fixing-failed-to-check-for-updates
-
@lResxt i use IPVanish and the problem is that i don't even have this folder.
i don't have plutonium in my localappdata folder idk why
-
niggsnigg This is just because you never got to run the launcher successfully, that's normal
-
@lResxt and how can I download the launcher normally
-
-
Mr.MaPSaBino when i start this it says "failed to check for updates" bro that is the problem
