when i hit play it turns to a black screen where i cant do nothing and i dont hear nothing, and i have to put off my pc. I have done all the directx and redist stuff and nothing happens and i cant open the console

Go in the bootstrapper command prompt (the console opened when you start the game)
and paste this (right click)r_fullscreen 2; vid_restartthen press Enter -
