    I've uninstalled and reinstalled and ran as admin and nothing works. How do i fix this? Looking up guides isn't helping and other people having similar issues seem to never have gotten it fixed.
    I've uninstalled it for the moment but I'm just so confused.

      Instead of saying "an error" show the error.
      Errors are there to describe the issue

                ali13736 What AV are you using?
                This article might help you https://plutonium.pw/docs/antivirus/

                If you are using Web Root/McAfee/Bullguard we recommend to flat out uninstall them.

                Why? Simply put: Disabling it or allowing exclusions will not allow Plutonium to function still (that's how bad those antiviruses are)

                If you have Defender and other AV that does not flag Plutonium, I recommend you to deactivate Defender using DefenderControl.

                  @velja_zmai,
                  If you have McAffe I've found that putting "plutonium-bootstrapper-win32.exe" in the excluded files helps remedy the error.

                    Billman_22 not quite sure on that one, since I've personally never used it, but always got it bundled with Opera Installer (lmao). Kaspersky still rocks, it does not false flag it.

                        or, if you don't feel like having Avast, flat out uninstall it.
