is the anti-cheat strong in 2022?

sorry for the weird question - im just wondering if the games custom anti-cheat is strong
im downloading plutonium atm and i remember the original bo2 had tons of cheaters
is plutonium's anti-cheat effective enough to restrict most modders so people can play fairly?

@closure77 most yea, it doesn't catch 100% of cheaters but which anticheat does?

@closure77 it's a lot more effective (and secure than Steam) yes.
No anticheats can catch 100% of cheats, even League of Legends has cheaters although it's a very few there are at very high ranks although everyone thinks you can't cheat on the game and although 99.9% of players will probably never meet a cheater there.Also, even if you do meet a cheater in-game there are a lot of options for you instead of just closing the game like on Steam, you can:
- Vote kick him to have him kicked (not banned, just kicked) if enough players vote too. If he's a cheater people will most likely vote yes of course
- Report him with !report or other server commands if the server supports it to have server owners notified
- Record it and create a post on the forum with proofs to have it reviewed by Plutonium administrators. In case we agree that this person is cheating he will be banned manually
- Play on another server until he's banned. Unlike Steam there's no random matchmaking where you can be with the cheater all the time. You can easily leave and join servers at any time so avoiding someone is very easy

Resxt are you aware there is a website that has several cod cheats, and one of them apparently bypasses plutonium's anti-cheat?
real femboy the team is working on this and like I said no anticheat is impossible to bypass sadly
But compared to Steam it's far better. Most cheats will get people banned + Plutonium can still work on/update the anticheat where Steam BO2 will never receive any form of support -

real femboy if the AC dev team gets their hands on the sample of cheat that apparently bypasses Pluto, they'll surely enough add that cheat into detection list.
