How to play custom zombies multiplayer?

I have followed several guides online. I know how to launch a modded map in bo1, however, i am having trouble playing this in a private match with my friend. How do i invite my friend? How does my friend join me? I saw in the documentation that it said to put "mp_" infront of the folder name, however, when i did that, i was no longer able to find the mod in the mods list

Remove the mp from the mod name

also mod support isn’t the best rn
so u probably cant play custom maps/mods
