    Sorex What's up buddy?
First of all congratulations for the brilliant work! And also sorry for my google translator english!
I don't know how to compile the file you ask. Could you help me by telling me how to do it or a tutorial where I can learn how to do it?

    Thank you in advance!

Black ops II Mapvote for Zombies and Multiplayer

      Developed by DoktorSAS

Special thanks to @ZECxR3ap3r & @JezuzLizard for their contributions to the development. Additional thanks to @John Kramer for image editing and birchy for the LUI starting point.

How to setup the mapvote step by step

      1. Compile the Script:

        • Set the Dvar mv_maps to specify the maps shown in the mapvote. For example:

        • Set the Dvar mv_enable to 1 to activate the mapvote on your Multiplayer server.
        • For random gametypes, set the Dvar mv_gametypes specifying the gametype ID (dm, war, sd, etc.) and the file to run if necessary. For example:
set mv_gametypes "[email protected] [email protected]"

      5. (Plutonium ONLY) LUI UI with mod support:

      Download

It is possbile to download either the source code or the released code. The source code is not fully test and could run into issue that need to be reported while the release is tested code that could have some bug not fixed but working as intended.

I highly recommend using the unreleased version and keeping it up to date for implementing features and patching reported bugs.

Sorex Really appriciate the work that was put into this! I use this for my zombie servers and it works great! Any one able to tell me if there is an easy way to increase the amount of map options? 5 or 6 map choices would be so sick!

              Sorex cool ! a question ...
because changing the map changes the game mode to "free for all"? I only want "tdm" I mean war.

                  Sorex
thanks for your quick response! ..but yes ..that is what I am doing ..I have tried in different ways ..for example ..
                  "set mv_gametypes "war;tdm.cfg"
                  "set mv_gametypes "tdm.cfg"
                  set mv_gametypes "war"
but none of these work for me.
Always when starting a map starts "free for all"
could it be that it is badly compiled .. ?

this is my map rotate ..

                  sv_maprotation "exec tdm.cfg map mp_nuketown_2020 map mp_hijacked map mp_raid"

and this is the config that I copied into my "dedicated.cfg"

                  set mv_enable 1 // Enable/Disable the mapvote
set mv_maps "mp_nuketown_2020 mp_hijacked mp_raid" // List of maps that can be voted on the mapvote, leave empty for all maps
set mv_excludedmaps "" // List of maps you don't want to show in the mapvote
                  set mv_time 10 // Time to vote
set mv_socialname "" // Name of the social server such as Discord, Twitter, Website, etc

thanks for your quick response! ..but yes ..that is what I am doing ..I have tried in different ways ..for example ..
                    "set mv_gametypes "war;tdm.cfg"
                    "set mv_gametypes "tdm.cfg"
                    set mv_gametypes "war"
but none of these work for me.
Always when starting a map starts "free for all"
could it be that it is badly compiled .. ?

this is my map rotate ..

                    sv_maprotation "exec tdm.cfg map mp_nuketown_2020 map mp_hijacked map mp_raid"

and this is the config that I copied into my "dedicated.cfg"

                    set mv_enable 1 // Enable/Disable the mapvote
set mv_maps "mp_nuketown_2020 mp_hijacked mp_raid" // List of maps that can be voted on the mapvote, leave empty for all maps
set mv_excludedmaps "" // List of maps you don't want to show in the mapvote
                    set mv_time 10 // Time to vote

                    @CamouflageLvCat

                    Try set mv_gametypes "war war"
Without the mapvote screenshot i can't guess the issue. But if you want just tdm just disable randomgametypes (I forgot to add that on BO2 mapvote. IW5 have it, i'll patch it).

From what i see "in your copy of dedicated.cfg" you are not event setting that dvar

Thanks for the answer.. i was busy..
                      the screenshot of what..?
my problem is that it starts in "freeforall", it is not visual..
I have the server in bo2MP..
the solution that you provide me _"WAR WAR" .. did not help me .. when changing the map it is set to "freeforall" ..

If start on free for all it mean that the issue is on your sv_maprotation if you execute dm.cfg it will start on ffa. The mapvote will not change the first gamemode.

set the sv_maprotation to something like "exec war.cfg map mp_carriere" for exemple

Then "exec tdm.cfg map mp_nuketown_2020" its fine. You don't need anything else. If the server start with another gamemode its not mapvote issue is your issue.

If you keep have the issue ask on public chat on the discord or make a forum post related to that.

Because tdm is not a g_gametype valid name you need to have war for tdm. g_gametype don't need to match your .cfg files

Maybe i am just confused due to lack of sleep but my mv_gametypes looks something like this right now for my Party mode Server

                                        set mv_gametypes "gun;gun.cfg oic;oic.cfg sas;sas.cfg shrp;shrp.cfg"

For some reason it just has Gungame in Rotation but when i do something like this

                                        set mv_gametypes "war;gun.cfg war;oic.cfg war;sas.cfg war;shrp.cfg"

Everything shows as Invalid (Expected TDM in Mapvote) but with rotation of Gungame, One in the Chamber etc.

So Basically its loading all Gamemodes in a rotation.

Can anyone maybe explain me the logic behind the Gametype rotation with specific Config file? because i can't get it running with it.

Maybe i am just confused due to lack of sleep but my mv_gametypes looks something like this right now for my Party mode Server

                                          set mv_gametypes "gun;gun.cfg oic;oic.cfg sas;sas.cfg shrp;shrp.cfg"

For some reason it just has Gungame in Rotation but when i do something like this

                                          set mv_gametypes "war;gun.cfg war;oic.cfg war;sas.cfg war;shrp.cfg"

Everything shows as Invalid (Expected TDM in Mapvote) but with rotation of Gungame, One in the Chamber etc.

So Basically its loading all Gamemodes in a rotation.

Can anyone maybe explain me the logic behind the Gametype rotation with specific Config file? because i can't get it running with it.

The gametype things is a little bit complicated. I'll probably work on an update to make it easier to understand.

If you use the version in releases the ';' it the symbol to split g_gametypes and his respective file. In the source code version there is an error that i need to fix. I use the '@' symbol to split the dvar but the ui still use the ';' symbol.
What happened problably is caused by an error on the code.

I'll take a look into it and patch it.

                                          Update

Now the symbol used to split gametype is the ';'. Everything should work fine. Download the mod from the github and not the release section.
Test the code and let me know if you find any other issues to patch.
