Zombies with friends?

Hi, i want to play zombies with a mate of mine but we cant seem to join each other, how do we go about this?

first you need to add them as a friend on the forum and then go onto zombies and start a custom game , set it up to your liking and start the game.
your friends will have to press f10 or shift + f10 and select friends and join off of your name by double clicking your name -
