When I pressed play on black ops 2 for the first time it crashed and now I have two plutonium.exe files, one called plutonium and one called plutonium.new. When I open either of those I get an error and it askes me if I want to play on LAN mode.

Sparky19 delete both and re-download it from here: https://cdn.plutonium.pw/updater/plutonium.exe

Dss0 When I try to delete plutonium.new it says the file is open in Plutonium.Updater.App, but I dont see anything open. Also, when I downloaded it from your link, it lets me press play, but it opens a black screen, loads for a minute, then crashes. Someone in the discord also told me that having Webroot prevents me from using this. Is that true?

Sparky19 yes, uninstall webroot. Windows defender is better anyways.

Could be caused due to you either seeding the torrent or a Plutonium process running in the background. Remove the torrent from your torrent client and restart your PC - then try deleting it again.

What if I already uninstalled the torrent client from my computer. By torrent client do you mean qBittorrent?

Yes, that's fine. Just restart your PC then delete the .exe

Is this problem I an having with Webroot happening because of the free bo2 download? If I had a copy of the game on steam would plutonium work? Or is the problem occurring else where.

You were told to uninstall webroot 3 days ago. Don't ask for help if you won't follow any advice.

Well I'm not sure if your pissed (cause it kind of sounds like you are). I'm working on getting a new antivirus right now. I was just curious about what was causing it to not work.
