why is it lagy when i run the server on a vps
-
Mr. Android idk relay know i know that i am yous the aws t2.micro
-
Cahz yes i am doing this on a vps the t2.micro
-
Duui YT said in why is it lagy when i run the server on a vps:
aws t2.micro
OK, CPU speed looks good enough but i suspect 1GB of RAM isn't enough. Spectre do you mind weighing in and if possible provide a host to use? (I imagine an AWS server wouldn't be worth the cost).
-
Mr. Android so what do you think the is good the google or the Microsoft vps
-
Duui YT I wouldn't go with either of them. You'd be best finding a VPS provider that charges a fixed amount per month. Should be able to find one for like $7 - $10 a month.
-
I would of said 2vCPU and 2GB Ram is the optimal. Also are you running linux or windows
-
Spectre win
-
1vCPU and 1GB Ram is not enough for windows. You may get away with it using Linux Server e.g. Ubuntu 18.04
-
can i run a Linux vps on windows
-
Duui YT what
-
luigistyle can i run linux on windows 10 or do i need linux
-
Duui YT You're asking if you can run an OS on another OS. That should answer your question
-
luigistyle ya can i run the linux vps on my windows 10
-
Duui YT You're asking if you can run 2 operating systems at the same time? You could use WSL or use a virtual machine to run Linux but that still won't be a VPS. And for your previous question, "do i need linux to run linux", let's pretend virtualization doesn't exist. Why would you need to use Linux to run Linux? Basically, you will need to talk to your VPS host (or look around) to see if they offer Linux VPS machines or if they could install Linux on your VPS for you.
