Can not launch bo2 from plutonium launcher

Whenever I try to launch bo2 it pops up the message stating that the binkw32.dll file can not be found and my directory is wrong but I have check multiple times and my directory is correct. My second thought was that my antivirus was blocking access to one of the files/programs but turning off and even uninstalling my antivirus did not fix it. I have tried using both the torrent download and downloading it from the steam unlocked website, neither version of the game would launch with plutonium as they both keep showing that the directory was wrong even though it is correct.

try going in to reddit files on file explorer and g down till u find dxsetup open it clicl next n then finish if that dont help download the dll file from chrome then put it in ur system 32 files if ur on a 64 bit if ur on 32 go to windows file then find syswow n put it in there then restart

irvinGthepimp no need to do this. It's a user error not a system error

SublethalDust make sure you selected your BO2 folder. If you use Plutonium's torrent it's a fo'der called pluto_t6_full_game

If you really can't get it to work then provide these 3 screenshots:

• Screenshot of the BO2 folder's content without hiding the path in the file explorer
• The properties of the BO2 folder (right click on it)
• The path you chose for BO2 in the launcher (click on Game Settings)

irvinGthepimp downloading dll files from chrome is a very good way to get viruses.
