Still no VPN allowed lol
-
I gave up trying to play plutonium a long time ago because it claimed "VPN is not allowed" when I never used one. I came back yesterday, played a couple matches just fine, so I figured they fixed that garbage problem, but then I try to play today, and every single server I try to join just kicks me instantly for "vpns are not allowed", again when I don't have one. This is so pathetic. You cannot control someone's connection so badly to the point where if they have like 1 ping more than desired, they get kicked.
And before it gets copy pasted here like it has in ALL the other posts about this issue, yes it is a problem with plutonium. I guess my friends and I are still not going to use this or make content of it... shame.

You're pretty stupid since Plutonium does NOT kick people for anything. Unless you get banned from Plutonium, Plutonium NEVER kicks players.
What you are refering to is a third party tool which is not affiliated to Plutonium or developed by Plutonium.
Also the anti VPN plugin is a plugin that server owners enable.
And if you had basic computer knowledge you would know that all systems aren't perfect and falsely detecting an IP as VPN is very common even for giant companies. It's not a problem with Plutonium at all, it's not even a bug at all. It's just a VPN detection plugin that's a third party tool that depends on another third party website that sometimes falsely flag IPs as VPN IPs.
Also if you play on a weird network/machine like a cloud machine like Shadow then it's completely normal and obvious.
Your problem could be easily fixed if you asked for help normally

No server hoster gives a damn about the increased ping, its about keeping banned people out. Also as said Pluto does not kick you nor even has anything built in to do so, you are getting kicked by an 3rd party application.

moldorm Do your homework next time and learn a little about the basics before you start ranting. Servers are community hosted and most servers don't allow VPNs for obvious reasons.
