ps4 contoller is not working on the new pluto update and DS4 doesnt detect my controller but my pc does. Any idea as to whats going wrong ?

yes but ds4 doesnt detect my ps4 controller and i have tried so many things but nothing seems to be working

nah, ds4windows not detecting your controller is a ds4windows issue. pluto not detecting your controller would be a pluto issue.

yeah im having the same problem my controller isnt working either i used to run the client through steam and made it work with big picture, but now with the new plutonium client thats not possible anymore..

The steam method no longer works because of how the game is launched. We understand that it used to work and now doesn't, but its not something we have much control over because of the way steam works. If DS4Windows does not recognize your controller you can follow the solution that Dss0 gave or you can find another program to emulate your DS4 controller. One program I would highly recommend is x360ce
It is a little more complicated to set up, but it should do the trick.
I do still stand by the comment that DS4Windows not recognizing your controller is NOT a plutonium issue to be solved. We get that it is frustrating that it's not working for you and that steam no longer works but at the end of the day it's not something we have direct control over.

one of the things that helped ds4 recognize my controller was to make sure steam is completely closed. whenever i had steam running in the background, ds4 wouldnt work. vise versa

You can use inputmapper on bo2 just download the ds4windows drivers
