How do i have my friends join my game (ISSUE WITH THEM JOINING)

I've already port forwarded correctly as well as read the link in read me on discord.
It says I need to be in the game while my friends need to be on the pluto main menu (not the original cod menu)
I do this but they are never able to connect, they type "connect (ip)(port)" into the console but they get stuck on connecting. any help?

Majesty This isn't recommended to keep enabled, but if your router has a DMZ feature, add your PCs internal ip to it to make sure its not a blocked port. (DMZ opens all ports)

You shouldn't use DMZ. Make sure you're actually in the game (not sitting in the pre-game lobby), you can start the match by typing "xpartygo" into the console.
Also it's ip:port (e.g. "connect 143.212.42.21:4976").
If it still doesn't work post a screenshot of your port forwarding settings. -
Whilst in-game, tab out and visit https://canyouseeme.org/ and enter the various port numbers, ensure they all come back successfully. If they don't, do what others have suggested above but also ensure the t6rmp.exe is allowed through your windows firewall.
