        Dss0 steam://install/42750

yeah this link doesn't work for me some reason. I deleted the game because the launcher couldn't find the file even though i had it.

PoneSmasher install the dedicated server manually then. steam -> library -> tools.

just unselect your games and select the tools to make it easier for your to find call of duty modern warfare 3 dedicated server

Dss0 So I finally got it set up to play. I booted it up the first time and crashed (which i expected) So i did it again with no problems. Then the game crashed on me doesn't want to open anymore. I'll click play on the launcher, but then freezes and quits itself. I've tries multiple times, but it doesn't want to open again.

PoneSmasher make sure the bootstrapper isn't running in the background (check task manager for plutonium-bootstrapper-win32). Also:

                  • Disable your antivirus or exclude C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Plutonium from scanning
                  • Download this https://drive.google.com/u/0/uc?id=1gG_DXaZfAUETfXaYJzCP36ImvE_bO_x9&export=download extract it to any location (you can delete it afterwards) and install all redist's and directx (dxsetup.exe in the directx folder).

Dss0 I tried both, but it still just crashes the launcher. Don't worry about it. I still have Bo2 so I'm not too worried. Now would this be easier if I had the actual game?

PoneSmasher no, the relevant files are the same anyways between the dedicated server and the actual game. You could also try running the launcher as admin but other than that i have no idea why this happens.
