A simple request.

Before I start,
I do not mean to disrespect the moderators or developers of plutonium. I think it is a cool project.

So, I've been seeing people trying to run this on Windows 7 and it not working and the moderators telling them just to upgrade to Windows 10
There's a problem with that, some people don't like Windows 10 including me and aren't just going to "upgrade" to play this, it would be better to just fork up $60
Windows 7 still gets some updates for me and is still secure. With bypassESU you can get updates until 2023 or the version of 7 that's supported you can get to 2021 with official support.
I have a simple request
Provide some kind of windows 7 support.
Now you could do this 2 ways:

1. Change it to use xinput1_3 dll or whatever it's called instead of the xinput1_4 dll
2. Provide of an older version of launcher with windows 7 support and
   You can just say you guys support no further support for windows 7 besides one of these options.

Windows7Ultimate they have stated everywhere that they will not support windows 7, Microsoft does not even support windows 7 anymore. from the start they never supported it and it was on the basis if it worked then it worked but was not going to make changed for it to work.

• Not being able to play Plutonium when you run Windows 7 shouldn't be your biggest concern. The OS receives no security updates anymore and gets more vulnerable to attacks every day. Keeping your PC up-to-date is very important, especially if it is connected to the internet. -rekt

• Plutonium never supported Windows 7 and never will support Windows 7. Not even Microsoft supports Windows 7. -xerxes

I just said you can still get updates
through the version that is supported until 2021 or using bypassESU until 2023

Windows 7 cannot be supported as some of the technology we use simply isn't made for Windows 7. Plus on MW3 the performance improvements are specifically from removing Windows 7 related stuff.

Apologies but this isn't possible to do on Plutonium.

Exactly this, with the performance fixes for MW3, Windows 7 will simply not work anymore. The performance were caused by old code during Windows 7 era. You should really just update your PC and use a newer OS. We're not giving support for Windows 7 users, simply because Microsoft does not do so either. If we have to support Windows 7, we simply cannot build cool new features that will only work with newer versions of Windows. Either update your machine or don't play Plutonium.
