Pushing yourself to your limits would be better than just camping with an LMG + claymores + Trophy System. Aggressive players are already prepared for the action, so you wouldn't have much of a chance against them.Everyone should have fun playing and play at their own pace, but at the same time, camping is a behavior that isn't viewed positively by any community. In fact, you can search for any gameplay from "WingsofRedemption", and the reaction would be the same.
And of course, being toxic is something I don't condone. Being good or bad at any game or activity doesn't entitle you to behave in a toxic way.

It's just a game. You can play however you want, but that doesn't change the fact that less-skilled players tend to camp.
That's because their reaction time, mouse control, and game sense are too low to compete against a faster player.Think about it: if you're rushing and want to shoot, there is a delay between the running animation and the shooting animation. So, in order to shoot, you need to react even before you can actually see the enemy. That's why pre-aiming common spots is important.

BO2 isn't the only online FPS I play, so if I get banned, I'll just come back two weeks later and it'll be cleared.
Don't waste your time. People who play like bots will report you, or you'll get banned because of them.
Play on another server, or just play other games too. -

It is an old, well-known issue, and it will never change. You are not the first one, and you will not be the last one.The owner, who is also the only admin, has some mental issues and gets triggered rather easily, so it will be impossible for you to even try to explain yourself.
He claims to have been playing since the days of CoD4, but his K/D is not higher than 0.8, which means he despises tryhards.
Most of his bans are ways to keep the server full of people who play like bots, and as soon as he spots a tryhard, they get banned.
But they will eventually get unbanned at some point. I have been banned from his server at least 50 times, more or less.
You will also get muted a lot, and his Discord is also muted because countless people have tried to appeal their bans. They harass him because he refuses to be fair.
Play on another server, or get ready to not enjoy playing on his server at all.

I don't know what could have triggered the anti-cheat. I played back in April using Heroic, and at the time I was using Proton-GE-Proton10-34. I played for a whole month without any issues.I would recommend just installing Arch and using a custom kernel to avoid any false positives.

I genuinely don't know what you mean by that.If you want to play, the only thing you need is a legal copy of the game (the Steam version). Otherwise, you won't find any support here.

Yes, it is kind of weird, since I've read a lot of posts from people who said they got banned out of nowhere.
At the same time, I've been playing on Plutonium for 8 years, and during all that time I've never been banned, not even once.In fact, back when non-Steam versions of the game were allowed, I used one. Nowadays, I've bought all the older Call of Duty games on Steam.
