Even if it’s maybe not the most morally right thing to use pirated software, and yeah, it’s good to support game developers — you’re not forced to buy the game. Unless you’re planning to host a server for it or something.

That said, it’s pretty obvious no one’s making you buy a legit license. There are well-known ways to play this and other games without paying for a license.

But also, it should be clear that if you go that route, you’re not getting any support here.

Personally, I think it’s just more convenient to have games on Steam, even if some — like parts of the Call of Duty series — can’t be played because of stuff like RCE exploits.

Hola buen día, te explico: El único dueño/Admin es una persona muy, muy mala jugando.
Tiene más de 10 años de EXP jugando cod4, espero tiene 0,6 de KD en todos los cods.
Así que si sos bueno o medio tryhard/sweaty, te banea del server por ser mejor que él...
Es algo normal, lo mejor es ir a otro server. No te va a quitar el ban por más que vayas a su discord.
Es más, muy probablemente te de ban ahí también.

Yo tengo estática así que ni me gasto. Aparte hay otros FPS online con más gente y con server latinos.

No, pero sin duda es otro pete como el dueño de LTDA... Yo tuve un ban temporal por "macro", después de hacer un 70-5.
2 semanas después de eso, entre he iba 50-2 y me dio un pemaban por hack.
El problema es que son una manga de petes espamenado LMG, y usando Guardian+sentry gun y chooper para hacer kills.

Si, había cerrado el chat después de que mucha gente fue a pedirle que los desbanee
Luego lo volvió a abrir, hasta que lo salude de manera cordial y desde ahí no lo ha vuelo a abrir.
Aparte de que acá mismo expuse alguno de los chats que tiene en su server.
Yo me cago de risa nomas, ya que el pibe apenas puede jugar con los muñones que tiene por manos jaja

Tenes varios tutoriales de como crear un vpn privado... Aún así vas a necesitar poner la ip de vps en una white list para que el plugin no te lo detecte.
Personalmente es mucho laburo al pedo, el ban te lo saca a los 3 días o como mucho en 2 semanas (lo se por exp propia)
Y cuando te lo saca, entras al server y le llenas la cola de chele.
Incluso podes entrar a su server de discord (no importa que estés baneado de su discord).
Y buscar ahí los últimos nicks que ha estado usando, es fácil ya que su nivel de escritura es de alguien que yo fue a la escuela.
Así vas a saber si esta o no en el sever...

El baneo es por ip, pero como hay un plugin que detecta vpn no hay forma.
A no ser que tengas un vps y crees vos in vpn dentro de ese vps... Pero es más complicado que jugar en otro server jajaja
La alternativa es tener una ip dinámica, pero dudo que eso exista todavía en Argentina.
