Since all of X-labs's clients are open source I have tried to compile them and with no luck, I have also found sources for some old FourDeltaOne and redacted clients but still no luck with compiling them, my ultimate goal is to modify a client for private offline use and to learn more about how they work, sorry if this isn't the right place to ask about this kind of thing but any help is appreciated

How to make a simple cod client?Hi for the longest time I have wanted to learn how the Plutonium and X labs clients were developed and how to develop one myself, I would like to develop a client for one of the cods that have mod tools support so i can add onto the game and ultimately revise it if that makes any sense, I have also looked at the iw4x source that's up on GitHub and when trying to compile/ build it, it just doesn't work and I get several errors... any and all help/ advise is appreciated, thank you.
