Windows 7 has reached End Of Life as per Microsoft. Our player numbers have increased instead of decreasing since we pushed the update so I doubt this is indeed the death of the playerbase.

So, I didn't do the mute but here's my perspective. I, who know Xlabs but don't use their Discord, and therefore have no idea about what happens there or what they do with their moderation. I see some guy join the Pluto Discord and start trying to antagonize staff members.

Why should the people in the Pluto community have to deal with your drama in regards to Xlabs moderation? No wonder you got muted, you were disrupting the peace of the server.

I don't mind unmuting as long as you check our rules and don't bring Xlabs stuff to Pluto Discord. Please.

Edit: It turns out I was wrong, he was banned. Instead of just letting me know he acted like a total cunt so he's banned from the platform now. No doubt he will be an entitled little brat and make alt accounts until he moves on in life.

I'd also suggest buying an SSD when you can, a 250GB one would help with your storage problems and the speed itself.

But as Dsso said, the CPU would struggle anyway.

But yeah - SSD, one of the best things I bought. A 250GB one is relatively cheap compared to other PC parts.

It is your responsibility to ensure your computers are secure. We don't care if it was your brother, sister, mother, cat, dog, customer, drug dealer or local government official.

Wait out the ban and lock down what your customers can do on your computers.

OK - yet EVERYBODY has to deal with the servers crashing and the various other problems, don't you think the devs limited time (for which they do this for free...) should be spent on fixing the bugs that occur for all players? I can show you videos of Pluto working just fine for Keyboard + Mouse players, so your point is moot.

You claim the community is toxic yet here you are almost demanding we work on "more advanced controls" for a PC game.

It's clear here who is the toxic one, I'll put it bluntly, we have far more pressing matters than a small sub section of our playerbase who use a controller, you are NOT our target audience. If you disagree, feel free to write some C++ and ASM yourself and come work for us, if not - get off your high horse and stop being so entitled.

Instead you simply talk about how much YOU hate it, you don't even state what part you hate about it or what the problem is, just "response curve". Then you talk about why YOU quit and then how there's no way YOU can get used to this again and how you're sure that EVERYONE agrees. Nothing to backup your claims. The very first reply from a non staff member was somebody disagreeing with you.. so it can't be EVERYONE can it?

This should answer the question for you.

We also collect information about your hardware (known as a Hardware ID / HWID) when you run Plutonium to enforce game bans. This information is tied to your unique user ID to pseduo-anonymize the data. Therefore your Personally Identifiable Information (email address in this instance) is not linked directly to the HWID.

I like that idea - once we are moved over to NodeBB v3 I might try and make a plugin to allow that to work.

This has nothing to do with Plutonium itself, you've been banned from one server, either appeal at their Discord or find another server.
