Either way you need to uninstall it cause Windows Defender is actually all you need, assuming that your friends device is either Windows 10/11. But it's your friend's choice.

What's the directory you're putting it in? Cause it should be in:
C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Plutonium\storage\t6\images

NuggetPSV You can just uninstall mw2 and open the mw2 directory and delete the files left by alterware. Also check your appdata files and delete anything alterware related.

NuggetPSV Why would you need plutonium for singleplayer campaign? You can just launch mw2 on steam and play the campaign. It's not like your playing multiplayer.

PinapXpress420 No campaign isn't supported and will never be. After all plutonium is a client to patch the security risk of the game, which is mainly zombies and multiplayer. Just launch the game through steam and play the game with a mouse and keyboard. If not you can just play normally with xbox button prompts after all it's no big of an issue. If you try to play it through plutonium, you'll just get an error issue later in the playthrough.
