How long does your PC take to load the map?

You have to use your username and it is case sensitive.

Make sure you have the maps installed.

There is no matchmaking, so obviously you will be "stuck" in an empty lobby.
For combat training use xpartygo after you did set-up everything.

You can't do that atm, back in 2018 we also discussed animated loading screens.
For that to work you would need support for animated textures so that might take a bit until that arrives.

The 3 easiest ways would be:
To ask your ISP to get your own IP.
To ask the server Owners to whitelist the IP.
To play on servers that don't kick you.

There is no such thing as IW5x, also there is no controller support for IW5.

TBH my experience was the direct opposite, the game ran great on my HD 6970 while it looked really good for a CoD title at that time. Except for the campers/snipers and the P2P system I liked the game. But I did only play the MP for ~25 hours due to the shitty performance of the P2P system so I might have been super lucky.

But our target isn't to offer as many CoD games as possible for free, we want to deliver quality and modability to a cheater free base to the games we support and those things take time. Now that IW5 is coming closer to that the focus will shift to T6 to wake it up from its sleep.

Thats not entirely true, this bug only occurs when your PC takes too long to load the next map part. Due to the limitations of consoles they had to use a few tricks, one of them is to not have the whole map in memory. What happens now when traveling between map parts is that your game has to load the next part into memory within a certain time limit, if that doesn't happen this "bug" will occur.
TLDR your PC is slower than a x360 or PS3 aka slow af aka a potato with wires.

MW3 has many "optimisations" for it's P2P styled network. They know residential connections are bad and hat to do quite many equally bad things to the netcode.

We are a PC client and not a console replacement project. The only way to get not raped with a controller against Mouse and Keyboard is to have a really unfair aimbot. You will get used to Mouse and Keyboard super easy and fast if you just want to and play a couple of matches and figure out sensitivity settings that work for you.
