Yes, I just set up my server today and it works. You have to start the game first, then when it gets to the menu tab out and start the server. Another thing to note is the game likes to hook onto port 4976 by default, so either change that or make the server use 4977 (or anything) and port forward accordingly.

Zombies ErrorGot this "Trying to get version of a demo when the demo system is idle" twice last night while playing with a friend. First was on Mob of the dead, after round 3 or 4 (can't remember). Second was on Die Rise after round 3. It was in a custom game and I had my friend join me using "connect IP". Saw some other posts having the same issue but never had a definitive solution. Should I try running a dedicated server?
