@ARGA07 your IDNS provider or ISP might have blocked/hide the Plutonium domains. This is, to my knowledge, just a shared "blacklist" with other providers. This just mean they hide the website from you but the IP is still reachable so simply changing DNS to a DNS that censors less stuff fixes it. My guess is that Plutonium is listed as a piracy website to some providers

@XanOo make sure the name and password are correct, case sensitive. Log out of the forum and log in again and make sure to copy both the nane and password in a notepad and it is logs him in paste it in the launcher

@oodracirr create your own topic and provide every info you can as this is a user error so we cannot help with no info (or read the documentation)

@Dss0 sorry about the inconvenience, I finally found the problem, I have windows 8 and not 8.1 so it doesn’t work.

@khe-pasa-tronco probably your antivirus or a software blocking the launcher Try to delete the Plutonium folder in %localappdata% (make a backup if necessary) then add Plutonium to the list of exceptions in your antivirus https://plutonium.pw/docs/antivirus/, make sure that no software is messing with the launcher like a file cloud syncing program and then start the launcher as administrator

@Rick2222 if that was your question the launcher only shows you folders because you have to select a folder so showing files is useless. Of course if you see all your files and whenever you open the file explorer in Plutonium you don't see them you can understand that the files aren't missing but are just hidden in that particular file explorer As said above just read the install guide and do what it says, you don't need to think about other things

@sbfh6 How to fix GPUDriverD3D11 errors? Update your GPU drivers https://www.howtogeek.com/135976/how-to-update-your-graphics-drivers-for-maximum-gaming-performance/ Install Direct X (even if it's already installed) https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35 Now restart your PC and try to start the launcher/your game again. If the issue persists then your PC probably doesn't have a Direct X 11 capable GPU but there is a way to bypass that. Download and run DXCpl.exe https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qvWbHrnBVVibYozaO9peXcSS9ovEBMhd/view Click "Edit List..." Click the three dots right of the "enter a process or folder name" field and select "plutonium-launcher-win32.exe" located in C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Plutonium\bin (Username is your Windows username) Tick the "force warp" checkbox and select "11_0" from the "feature level limit" dropdown menu Hit OK & try to start the launcher/your game again.

@Resxt It worked, thanks, possibly it was some running process that was blocking the installation yesterday, I tried the steps you told me and it worked.

@BossiMode "why is it named that?" well do you know what that detection name means anyways? Yes it's a false positive it frequently happens on unsigned/"unknown" software like Plutonium after they update. For exemple qBittorrent is often detected as a malware when it's updated although it has been among the most trusted torrent clients in the torrenting community for a long time now and, iirc, is open source. https://plutonium.pw/docs/antivirus/

I don't have any other antivirus besides Defender, which is disabled by cmd. I even opened the game a couple of times, it worked for a minute and then it just closes without warning and without any error on the screen

@lirarze Crash with an error (0x000007b, crashdump error or similar) There is no easy answer for this but here are some possible solutions Add Plutonium as an exception in your antivirus or uninstall it (do what is said for your antivirus in the documentation) https://plutonium.pw/docs/antivirus Repair your game: https://plutonium.pw/docs/repair/ Update your GPU drivers Install DirectX (even if it's already installed): https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35 If you're running the game in a virtual machine don't, this doesn't work If you're using ReShade remove it. It's not supported on Plutonium and will make your game crash Close programs with overlays or disable their overlays (Steam, MSI Afterburner, Rivatuner etc.) Try to unplug devices connected to your PC (VR headset, other monitors, controllers etc.) If you use an Avermedia capture card uninstall its drivers Verify the integrity of your system files: Open the start menu and search for "cmd" Run cmd as admin Copy and paste (right click) each command below one by one in the cmd and press enter after each command Only put the next command when the one you ran is finished. DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth sfc /scannow Once it's done restart your PC If after doing all of this it still doesn't work reply with these info What your antivirus is and if you disabled or uninstalled it A screenshot of your game files The crashdump files created in %localappdata%\Plutonium\crashdumps (upload them on a website like Google Drive, Mediafire or anyyhing else and include the link here) As a last resort doing a clean install of Windows (factory reset) could solve the issue. Don't install your usual programs at first just install your GPU drivers, Direct X, your browser and Discord for example and test like that.
