Repairing your game files If you have a avermedia capture device unplug it If you have a vr headset plugged in unplug it Updating your graphics drivers Making sure the game uses your dedicated gpu if you're using a laptop with dual gpus Pluto does not work in virtual machines in case you're using one

Whitelist the path in Bitdefender and give it a reboot to actually apply the whitelist.
Then run the updater again.
