Coming here because using Cloudflare worked no problem for a few days but now it's back to throwing the same error no matter what I do. Going into appdata and launching from the exe directly is the only solution now but it's not recommended since you won't receive updates automatically. Seems to be the only temporary fix

WelshGamerYT the error you have is due to a connection issue between you and the server.
You can usually correct it by doing something different... wifi to ethernet, ethernet to wifi, reset router, change dns, use mobile hotspot, use vpn, etc.
Cloudflare warp is a free "vpn like" option that seems to work the best for the folks that get this error.

Muffinman v69 I use ms store version of cod waw, it was a little annoying at first but if you read the errors saying culdn't find blah blah blah in the blah blah blah folder just copy and paste it into the folder plutonium is trying to find it in, and in your zone folder copy everything from the english folder into a new folder in the zone folder and call that 'null' I couldn't find any help or answers anywhere but that is what worked for me
