Sorry it took forever but I believe I have a solution, although is one I have done before so it is weird that I needed to do it again, and after doing it the game seem to have started from scratch, like if I didn't open it before

this should be a link to a comment with a mega link for a file that when decompressed and placed in the the part the comment mentions should fix this problem (at the previously mentioned risks), in case the link doesn't get you to the comment:
    https://mega.nz/folder/9ksUkSrA#TRYDTvno7hW_khFlJCB7mg
that is the mega link, and the location, if I'm not wrong, is AppData\Local\Plutonium\storage\t5
I really hope this helps you
(i reposted this answering you directly in case you didn't saw it because of it)

Thanks for this change! Now I'm forced to either play with controller bindings and have my ass kicked in every public game with a worthless joystick-based gyro-camera through SteamAPI at best, or put up with a (now) stuttery and unresponsive cursor-camera because your implementation can't handle modern polling rates (500mhz). There was no problem with it defaulted to on, and now that it's forced off I may as well uninstall the game and close my account; which is exactly what I'll be doing. 👍
