You can also use this in servers as a client side mod by putting the mod.ff into your iw5/zone folder.

Good job, these sounds are better than MW3. But, is possible to play in online matches with this moD (as an client), or the server must be need instaled for can work? (then, only can be use in private matches).

Migter12 TeleCreeper I am also having an issue with getting the mw2 sounds mod to work. I tried doing fs_game mods/mw2_sounds in the console. This sets the fs_game dvar to mods/mw2_sounds (which I have the mw2_sounds folder placed in), but the gun sounds did not change. I've tried running this before starting a private match, and during a private match, but neither worked.

UPDATE: This was actually fixed around December 2024 from a Plutonium update regarding client-side mods.

A sound pack containing most of the weapon sounds from MW2 .
They replace the sounds of the weapons that were in both MW2 and MW3.
So the ACR, M4, UMP45, Barrett, Deagle, etc.

Video showcasing some of the sounds, sorry its not edited. I dont have any editing software.
                        Showcase

                        Download: MW2 Sounds Mod

To install it just put it in: Plutonium/storage/iw5/mods

And to activate it type this in the console: fs_game mods/mw2_sounds

Or as SadSloth said you can use it client side by putting the mod.ff file in Plutonium/storage/iw5/zone

Thanks to Xerxes for helping me get zonetool as well as telling me which ff file to dump to get access to the files.
And HUGE thanks to Artyx on the plutonium discord for teaching me how to set up the proper file structure.

                        TeleCreeper Hello dear creator,
I’m from China and I really want to try the COD8 MW2 sound pack you created, but Google Drive isn’t accessible in my area. I wanted to ask if you have any other way to download it. Looking forward to your reply.
