[ZM] WAW Weapons mod for bo1 maps v2.7

Ah Okay I see it's still pretty cool what you're doing here I was wondering if you could maybe make a similar mod for the multiplayer obviously that one would require to replace weapon since adding new weapons to the create a class it's from what I've heard pretty tedious but I would like to see World at War weapons on the Black Ops multiplayer maps either way the mods coming up splendidly I hope you continue improving this mod this is a really great mod.

adding waw weapons to multiplayer I think would be a cool idea too, but like you said it would be tedious even if I just replace the weapons currently in the game since I would have to port over all the weapon models from waw mp so I could add suppressors optics and whatever other attachments since those weapon models come with the attachments -
hey, so i lowered the opacity of the pap camos spec map and lowered the black level of the silver_dark texture. i think it looks a bit closer and spec map allows more shine if u wanna use these files.

Brigeezy123 I think those textures are an improvement so I added them
along with that I updated the pap models for the fg42, stg44, and type100 -

along with that I updated the pap models for the fg42, stg44, and type100HomerJay42 also if you want to tweak around and see what looks best on the camo, just mess with the spec map's opacity values.

dont mean to give another update, but i turned the black level of the silver_dark up a tiny bit and gave it some color.
this is before and after
you can notice it more on the top part of the gun, i just did it so the difference in color isnt too out of place.

Brigeezy123 I didn't change those ones tbh, they just use the base bo1 pap camo, but before when you papped them they would just look the same as when unpapped

also if u want i can take a look at the gunfire flare fx files and i can edit them to look like waws, not sure how u would add in separate ones for guns that have distinct flares like ppsh. edit; actually in bo1's campaign it uses the same flash effects as waw's.

Brigeezy123 the waw muzzleflashes are already in the bo1 files, it's just that each waw weapon used it's own fx file making the amount of fx assets surpass the limit. all of bo1's weapons use the same muzzleflashes between smg, rifle and heavy along with the pap variants, so I decided I would make the waw weapons use those instead and figured no one would really care or even notice
