    its a hit or miss issue. it takes 2-10 attempts to get it to actually launch. any help appreciated. thanks.

        its fixed. apparently you need to launch directly from the exe in appdata. thanks

          No don't. If you do that you won't no longer be able to play when a new update drops - which is exactly what plutonium.exe does, looks for updates and downloads them if there's one and then starts the game. Your issue might be AV related, what antivirus do you use?

            I use windows defender and have the exe as an exception. If this is the case, could I just launch the updater application whenever there’s a new update?

              Probably should, but we don't recommend it. Anyways, try adding exclusions to Pluto - follow this video.

                I'm having the same exact issue. I've added exclusion, disabled defender, installed any dependencies such as .NET framework and C++ redis. I've run as admin and with compatibility modes.
