SpongeBoyMeBob GSC mods only work if you are the host. You cannot use them to cheat intentionally or accidentally. It is safe to leave them installed.
This applies to all methods of intended mod loading on all 3 games. As long as the mod is loaded using the official methods of course.

im talking about an installed mod menu on my computer so i can have a bit more fun in custom games, im just tryna make sure that its ok that i can join a server and not get banned for having an installed mod menu as long as i dont use it

If you load the mod the way we show in our tutorials (i.e. through dropping it in
%localappdata%\Plutonium[...]) then you will be fine. -

Doop7 you can only get banned for using a software to mess with the game while not in LAN mode
