that's what I have except GameSetting was in main/.
I tested again with putting everything at the right place.
Its better ! I was able to use the menu one time, the second time the server crashed…But I'm on Linux/Wine, maybe it is the reason, my server used to crash once / twice a day those time...

Can be wine, wine use a lot of CPU. You can ask on the forum if someone have any hint to host on linux in a better way.

Yes.. A lot is even not enough to describe how much it consumes
Thats annoying .. But virtualized windows consume more RAM, so I had to make a choice... ! -
Nice to see this is complete. Is it possible for you to make a zombies version in a similar way?

hi i put your mod on my server for now all working good but i have aonly one problem when exemple we vote hijacked the server will put an other map why ? here is my sv_maprotation "exec tdm.cfg map mp_nuketown_2020 map mp_la map mp_dockside map mp_carrier map mp_drone map mp_express map mp_hijacked map mp_meltdown map mp_overflow map mp_nightclub map mp_raid map mp_slums map mp_village map mp_turbine map mp_socotra"

TTV_WIZEQC Yes, you have to put only one map. My bad. I did not make this step on the video and i did not added this on the guide. Now i add this information.

New Update
I made a big update, I recommend anyone who was using my mapvote to upgrade to the new version. I fixied some issues and optimizied the code. I added the Mapselection. In case of testing you can use map selection to change the map. I find mapselection very useful when testing things on specific maps.
I am doing this replay to highlight the new update and that if any bugs occur it would be very helpful to report the issue under this post. Unfortunately, I don't have the opportunity to test it sufficiently.

Sorex Really nice mod ! I have 2 questions :
- Is it possible to use the mapvote offline, I mean with bots but not on server ?
- I downloaded the Server config folder but I don't have the maps/mp/... folder in data. How to have it ?

- Probably can be used also offline, i did not test it on private match. Is server sided dedicated
- Create the folder, if you don't have it just create the missing folders

the map vote does not work, well it does but every time i add it it gives me a blue screen on the maps. doesn't show the maps AT all..

I am having problems with the latest version, every time I choose a map it always rotates to the map cargo, and the map images don't show up so I don't actually know what I am choosing, there are just 3 empty boxes...

Also, I don't have a main/ folder, is this a bad thing?
I downloaded the Server Config Sorex sent to chacha18 and I already have the dedicated files found in main/ on my t6r/ folder. -

ox0badErr0r No, its made to be server side. To make it work you have to edit the gsc code. But at the moment the script is getting re-worked

LeonFull Sorry my bad, i find an issue with a function and insteed of using
maps\mp\gametypes\_globallogic_utils::registerpostroundevent(::mv_Begin);
i used
replaceFunc( maps\mp\gametypes\_killcam::finalkillcamwaiter, ::mv_finalkillcamwaiter);
and i did not changed the code to make the mapvote get ignored.
In a few minutes will be updated and fixedUpdated, is on the same link of the 4.0.0 so press on this

Hey Sorex, nice mod
The maps vote work well overall but I'm having trouble to make it work throught multiple gametype.
I have try to make it work with:-
set sv_maprotation "map mp_nuketown_2020"
andset mv_gametype "gun shrp dm sas"
--> the game load as tdm and the mv_gametype does not work properly -
set sv_maprotation "exec gun.cfg map mp_nuketown_2020"
andset mv_gametype "gun shrp dm sas"
--> while the gametype load correctly, the mv_gametype still does not work properly
I tryed on my own to make some tweaks to the base .gsc (implementing random gametype with the dvar gametypes, adding it to votes manager and trying to add the gametype name to server ui, adding the winner vote gametype to setrotation) but i'm not really a good c++ programmer.
Here is what i attempted to do :

You are right, that "mv_gametype" is not a real gametype support. In fact it was made to be edited directly from the gsc code.
The dvar "mv_gametype" represents the file to run before the map changes. Actually to do what you need you just have to edit the mapvote code and set the dvar to the name of the file plus its extension.
In gsc it'ssetDvar("mv_gametype", "gun.cfg")
, unfortunately I've never dedicated myself to a system integrated to mapvote but I left the possibility to make others do it either internally in my code or from an external script.To show the gametype on the mapvote you have to modify the mapvote script itself.
