Plutonium Verification Form

im chillin
-
i am againts that i love the Game but 800 Mexican pesos for a 11 years old game that suck
-
If old COD games were actually reasonably priced, I think most people wouldn't mind the verification, but there is no reason for an unsupported game that is many years old to be 60 dollars, even 20 bucks on sale is a steep ask especially since the DLC is still full price (Activision moment).

Maybe you should read the actual announcement first before you start to rant?

Xerxes Plutonium not checking for DLC ownership gives Activision a good enough reason to potentially give it a C&D.
-
imo this is really silly, AAA publishers have continually shown that if they want a mod taken down they WILL C&D it regardless of the legality (ie: rockstar, activision, nintendo). removing torrents off the site was a good move though and should've been done years ago, I have no idea how pluto did that for so long without activision taking action
additionally, the plutonium dev team really seems to underestimate just how many of their players are pirating lmao. if they go forward with this change plutonium is going to lose a lot of it's players and alternative clients will likely eventually pop up that don't care about ownership status

iwtr-nny imagine being racist on plutonium forums. Most cringe thing i have seen in a while.
-
Will this vote actually have an effect on pluto getting verification?
-
no it wont
-
Damn.
-
Xerxes He didn't rant just stated his thoughts. Is that not wanted anymore i guess??

It is truly disheartening that the situation has reached this point. I find it difficult to believe that any rectification can effectively occur. For five years, as previously mentioned by a colleague, everything was accessible without constraints. Then, abruptly, due to XLabs receiving a cease and desist notice, the Plutonium project had to respond. While it is necessary to establish proper protocols, should Activision choose to take action against Plutonium, they possess the capability to do so effortlessly. This is contingent upon the game being both free and in violation of regulations for an extended period. Personally, I had to acquire the game today, as an owner of five BOII servers. Despite the cost being 25€, it remains a substantial amount that may be beyond the means of certain individuals, such as young gamers or parents facing financial hardship towards the month's end. In my view, implementing an audit could potentially lead to a decline in the Plutonium player base, consequently pushing them towards failure.
