It was working fine a few days ago, I tried opening it today and I get this crash message after it sits for a while trying to load:

Update: after coming back later it suddenly works again, I did nothing besides turning my computer to sleep mode. Still not sure what the issue was or what to do to fix it but it seems like it fixed itself.

I also got the same issue aswell (happens on all of my PCs, all of them runs Win10 LTSC 2021), plus I even noticing that one of other programs (NVCleanstall, used to install NVIDIA drivers without bloatware, also fails to connect with HTTP timed out on all of my PCs), i'm gonna try to change DNS or something and see if its caused by Cloudflare DNS or not.

Edit: Changing DNS didn't have this issues, but I ran Plutonium on Windows 7 VM (also using Cloudflare DNS) and it managed to connect just fine.

Edit 2: Now the same thing happens to my Win7 VM aswell too for some reasons after launching it second time after it managed to work.

This happened to me but only after I had my router crashed remotely while playing BO2 without Plutonium (I forgot to launch it). Plutonium hasn't worked since despite multiple clean installs.

I had the same error a few days ago, coming and going. Everything works after switching my network from 5GHz to 2.4GHz. The download speeds between my 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks differ by a factor of nearly 10 while the upload speeds remain the same. I definitely need to contact my service provider as things have been fishy lately with networks dropping on occasion and bad TV signals.

It even works once I switch back to the 5GHz network I was originally using, so either the updater fixed itself, or it simply needed a little "kick" that seemed to come from switching to another network.

Im having the same issue, yesterday and this morning it was working fine but from one moment whenever I launch the launcher and it reaches the "Fetching update info..." it stays there until the conection is timed-out and launches the error:

I deactivated the firewall and eveything in order to discard if that was the thing blocking the request, but I haven't been able to make it work. If someone knows what else to try I will appreciate it.

Same issue, still not resolved for me. It used to work fine, did not change anything on my broadband, stopped working at some point. It works fine when providing internet hotspot from my phone data provider, but not from normal broadband. Tried firewall on router settings off and anti-virus on pc off, tried to run with administrator, no success.

i was able to fix this by unplugging my ethernet, it worked instantly after, granted I still reinstalled.
