I'm releasing the scar and msmc weapon skins that follow along with the printstream collection in csgo. I made most guns for MW3 but wanted to attempt making them in black ops 2, despite me disliking this game. If people like I might consider making some for the other weapons as well.

I'm releasing the Printstream skins I made based on the CS:GO collection. These replace the default models of the MP7, ACR, and Silencer.

I'm updating the printstream skins with specular map today. All the skins can be found in the folder linked below. The suppressor is also included in this as I added specular map to that too.

Here is a showcase of all the skins. Certain maps exaggerate the specular maps while others barely show it. This is taken on terminal where in certain areas it is very noticible to show it off.

If you only want the skins without the specular mapping just download and use the files ending in "col" only.

Note:

The g36 is mildly bland because the game maps many different areas of the gun wiith the same area of textures. Idk if there is a way to custom remap textures with a gsc script, but if not there is not much you can do with the design of the front of the gun bc of this.

I made new skins based off the Ticket to Hell USP-S from CS:GO. They have a rainbow specular map, the specular map is faint on most default maps, I can't change this. Some maps it will show better than others.

I made the skins based on a design I found on the csgo workshop.

The specular map for the acr can be overpowering on a lot of maps so feel free to use it without, just dont add the spc files to your images folder

I'm releasing the scar and ak74 skins today

I would recommend backing up the ak74 file in your images folder by default before using this. This will overwrite that and if you want to use the default one again idk how to get that back.

As well, with the link below all the skins will be in the same folder so they are all in one place ty for the idea sadslothxl

Revox1337 i believe i figured it out last night and got it working for some of the skins so far. tysm for the helpful explaination i will make another post with them when they are all done

TahjGadd they are just files from the same directory. the silencer has a variant for smgs, pistols, and ar's which is more annoying than mw3.

@QueasyNurples I use photoshop with the nvidia dds plugin. also, not sure how to do specular map without it being the gold camo, I wanted to do that but couldn't figure it out since these use the default models and not a camo.

TahjGadd you can change any texture you'd like from the game files. i use a generic dds to iwi convertor

Revox1337 tysm this is extremely helpful. i saw the other files in the game but only used the "col" ones. I will attempt this and see if I can make it look as good as it does in your screenshots

Restitution

I noticed some people saying the specular map wasn't working when downloading and finally found out the cause to the issue.

Mediafire changed file names when downloading individual files for people on windows (it was replacing the ~ with a _ in the file name. The download below links to a folder with the zip files for all the Printstream skins in which should preserve the correct file names to make the specular map work
