Okay, Thanks.
I think I am going to load up Linux on a spare drive and test it out. Fingers crossed!

Current state of Plutonium on Linux? -
Current state of Plutonium on Linux? With support for Windows 10 dropping in a few months I am considering switching to Linux and using Fedora 42 KDE Plasma. I have a still powerful AM3+ AMD based (CPU & GPU) gaming rig that runs great but it does not have TPM 2.0 so windows 11 is not an option and a new gaming pc is not in the budget. I also do not want the hassle of trying to get windows 11 to run on it with workarounds and I am tired of windows lack of privacy.
I am most interested in getting BO2 to work in Fedora if possible. I currently have Steam and BO2 on my pc and use Plutonium to play BO2.
So my question is, can I play Plutonium BO2 on Fedora 42 KDE Plasma without issue or should I use a different Linux distro?
Any info on playing Plutonium BO2 on Linux would be helpful.

BO2 an MW3, past two days, getting stuck at connecting to online sevices, then erroring out with a notice saying the server is not available at this timeI run software on my router similar to PiHole. Turns out one of the Plutonium IP addresses made it into an external block list and was what was causing the problem.

BO2 an MW3, past two days, getting stuck at connecting to online sevices, then erroring out with a notice saying the server is not available at this timeBeen using Plutonium (thanks!) for a long time without issues. Now this is suddenly happening. No changes to my network settings or computer other than the latest window update. I do not see anyone else posting about this issue so I assume it is on my end. Any ideas what I should check for ? Thanks

Missing BO2 servers after last Plutonium update several days agoSeveral days ago it looked like Plutonium updated when I launched it. Since then the B02 multiplayer server list is only showing about a third or less of the servers it used to. Many of the popular servers I typically play are no longer there to choose.
Could this be something that needs fixing on my end? If yes, any ideas on what I may need to fix?
I am also curious if anyone else is having the same issue?

I cant login at allI did notice the plutonium launcher updated when I launched it. Haven't been able to login since. It also strangely made me reenter my credentials before it would launch yesterday. No problem logging in that time however. Thinking the update borked something or server issue.
Would they announce if they were shutting servers down for maintenance?

I cant login at allLogin seems to fail when authenticating. Is the error suggesting a certificate error? If so would it be server or client side problem?

What network ports need to be open for NAT: OPENDss0 Hi and thanks.
I actually did port forward 4976 and also 4977 however it still says my NAT type is Moderate in Blops 2. I have no problem joining lobbies and I do not host a server so maybe it is no big deal? I am assuming if it works like Steam I will be unable to host a lobby though.
I did already have all these games port forwarded in my pfSense router as I used to play them on Steam until the hackers took over. Through Steam all of these games were Open NAT. Not sure why adding the above ports to my forwards didn't work.
By the way, I've only been using Plutonium a couple of days and it is nice not seeing any hackers yet. I still play BO3 on Steam but in the past year the hackers have more or less taken over. Love the game but not much fun against hackers. Really mad they still sell the game but don't support it and they no longer ban people. Glad you all will ban the hackers here and offer a place for people to play without hackers! Thanks

What network ports need to be open for NAT: OPENCurrently the game (BO2) says my NAT type is Moderate. What ports do I need to port forward to change it to Open? I do not use UPnP and won't. I do all of my port forwards manually. I am well versed in setting up port forwards so I only need the port numbers and protocol (UDP / TCP).
Hopefully I can get a list of UDP & TCP ports needed for all games in Plutonium. Thanks
