The game uses dx9 so you only need that dll. Just put it in the BO1 directory with the steam dll and the non-pluto exe.
If that's not working then idk.

Run your own server for it. I would play on it, I like FFA.

Try using dxvk. Make sure to use v2.7.1 otherwise it's trigger pluto's anticheat

I've ran into problems with BO1 and BO2 running fullscreen. For some reason they just work better in borderless windowed.

For t5 and t6, I'd recommend running it borderless windowed instead of fullscreen. For some reasons I ran into issues with my 4k monitor and everything just works when turning off fullscreen.

Maybe the new PS5 port drove up interest, and people either seeing how half-assed those ports are or just not having a PS5 are coming to pluto?

I don't really play multiplayer BO3, mainly just zombies solo or with friends. Never had any issues with ez

@striped_shirt You won't be able to join a server if it's on a newer version than you. And sometimes I run into issues where my shortcuts won't launch and I have manually update to launch. Haven't gotten any bans for it.

Might as well launch them through plutonium, especially if you want to play with a controller.

Okay I switched to v2.7.1, and it worked.
Plus, it did fix my performance issues, I'm getting a locked 120fps at max settings. I'm surprised this fix isn't on the wiki, the frametime graph is a night and day difference.

Launching Plutonium in online mode does that for unapproved dlls in the game folder. x86 DXVK 2.7.1 is allowed though.

I was using the newer v3.0. I'll try again with v2.7.1.
Is it supposed to do the same when in launching in LAN mode? Because I'm pretty sure I tried that as well and had the same results.

I tried using process monitor to confirm it's pluto doing this, but it triggers the anti cheat and doesn't let you launch a game.

Does Plutonium prune your game directory before launching? It has to be doing something.

No, but I really don't think it's driver related. Nothing else has this problem and I just went from an Nvidia GPU to a slightly newer one.

Mods should ban "plutonium should support X" posts.
Other clients exist, some of them with advantages over pluto. Just use those instead of asking to fracture the already small player base even more.

I came back to BO1 after not playing in awhile. Before I was able to have a locked 120fps, but now I'm getting constant frame rate drops. I've upgraded my GPU in the time since, so if anything performance should be better.

You didn't say what game, but sounds like either WaW or BO1. Either way 60 is what these are really built to run at. The fact they go higher is nice but it's not without issue.

Did you report them? I'm sure chats are logged so if you tell the server owner they admitted it that would be reason enough to ban them.

Pluto has it's own servers and infrastructure, it doesn't rely on Activision's at all.
