Laeyon the launcher should now automatically detect missing redists and install them when you start it so that step isn't necessary anymore. But just to provide you that info, this is what i'm talking about:

Rivatuner has a DirectX overlay to display your fps and so on, this can interfere with the game's DirectX frame.

HandysFromMandy you need to buy and download the game via steam, after that select your steam game folder in the pluto launcher.

Orrgroup "simple" is subjective. To me it's simple and i don't need to watch any videos either but i understand it may be complicated for others. We are planning on streamlining the process in the future.

DrzyFishy the issue may be that you moved the original game folder so steam can't find the game files but still has that folder saved.
Have you tried uninstalling the entire game including sp and zm (also delete the local folder)?
Also make sure the path set in steam -> settings -> downloads -> show library folders is correct.

SyncHole what if you completely disable the windows firewall? Just to see if that's the issue.

mZ_AkimaruShaii i don't understand what you're trying to do, are you having trouble selecting your game folder? you need to select a folder that contains bo2 game files. Example:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty Black Ops II

BigBoyAlex12 verify your game files via steam.

Soulsta post a screenshot of your port forwarding settings. Also make sure you created an inbound firewall rule for the port or for plutonium-bootstrapper-win32 directly.
Also, when running game and server on the same pc the server will use port 4977 as the game already occupies 4976, you can double check this by typing "net_port" into the server console.
