I'm not sure if t5 even runs in wine but that fastfile error is actually irrelevant. I have the same thing in my log and the game still works, seems that was left over from when that file actually existed.
Maybe check the wine log.

Cant launch b01 -
Virtual Machine questionYou can't run the client in a VM so that won't be possible. Only servers can be run in VMs.
-
Cant launch b01There should be a console.log file in %localappdata%/Plutonium. Try launching T5 first then upload that log file here (or upload it to a site like pastebin and post the link).

b01 launches on steam but not plutonium, I have attempted to track the issue down and believe it is due to the fact that I dont have the file "en_plutonium_ui.ff"
How did you come to that conclusion? I don't have this file and it works.
The only fastfiles (.ff) that plutonium needs arepatch_mp.ff, plutonium_ui.ff and plutonium_ui_mp.ff
those are located in
%localappdata%/Plutonium/storage/t5/zone

"Unable to join game session" on T6In the meantime, is there a console command to check my IP and port?
Open windows command prompt and run
ipconfig
will show you the local addresses of all your network adapters. However it won't show you your external ip, for that you need to go to sites such as whatsmyip.org.
Zombies without UPnP and port forwarding somehow works. But even with UPnP and port forwarding set up (correctly), multiplayer couldn't get to work. But why is this the case?
No idea.
One more question, can't we run the Steam original BO2 exe and not connect to any public lobbies? Just connect to each other?
You can run vanilla bo2 via steam if you own it ofc and play private match with your friends yes. There is no connect command in vanilla bo2, that was added by pluto so you need to do it the traditional way via the friendlist.

I got banned for no reasonsyou got banned on the brownies server or from plutonium as a whole?
If it's just the brownies server there is nothing we can do for you, you gotta find a way to contact them. -

It contains a possible workaround for this error. -
"Unable to join game session" on T6Unkn0wnSniper said in "Unable to join game session" on T6:
2- I want a reasonable answer as to why "Friends list", "Network", and "Help" section are removed with only "Server list" section being left.
Because we now use the built-in friendlist of bo2.
If we were to use a virtual lan software such as Radmin VPN, will it fix our issue?
Possibly yes.
Does having a custom reticle cause the issue?
No
My question is, why did they/you remove them?
Answered above, it should work without that now just as it does on steam. However port forwarding may be required, also the host of the match has to start the match before anyone can connect.
Can you (or whoever hosts the match) post a screenshot of their port forwarding settings? -
can someone explain bromonitor set to 182hz refresh rate for some reason and vsync on? idk

I can't play with my friendsdid you port forward? what's your nat state (shows on the bottom right in the main menu)?
is your brother on the same network as you? and he still can't connect? -
Can't leave the setupright click -> run as admin
also can you post the path you select in the launcher? -
T6 Error "Unable to load import '#6' from module 'DSOUND.dll'"the game uses dx9, having dx12 installed doesn't automatically give you the files of previous versions.

Can't Host games even with Upnp and port forwardingThatOneOreo said in Can't Host games even with Upnp and port forwarding:
All of the internet traffic in routed through plutonium so you can just invite a friend to your party and start a custom game.
Plutonium is a VPN now?
Nah it's not, private matches are P2P. Usually this works without port forwarding just like it does on the vanilla game because of upnp. In some cases this doesn't work so one may need to manually open the port. -
Trying to get my server to show up in the server browser. You can't connect via ip in bo1, you need to use the session id. You can get that by going here: https://plutonium.pw/api/servers
Look for your server and then look for the key labeled "id".connect 3497239723972784
If that works your issue is that your router doesn't support nat loopback, other people outside of your lan will see the server in the list.
If that doesn't work then packets can't get through to your server so it's an issue with port forwarding/firewall/occupied ports. -
Torrent file problembecause it's a folder selection dialogue, not a file selection one. It only shows folders.

QuestionGame traffic is not routed through DNS servers so that's actually completely irrelevant. Only thing changing DNS servers can improve is webpage loading times due to faster name resolution.
In some rare cases using a VPN can improve your ping but this is only the case if the routing from you to the game server is bad and the route via the VPN server is faster. Other than that you'll have to live with relatively high ping from china to game servers in europe or the us. -
what should I do
