It is obviously your Plutonium password, as you are on the Plutonium forum. You didn't enter the correct password if you're getting a "wrong password" error.

how do i verify my account?To verify your email, first, you need to set your email on your Plutonium account.
To do this, click your profile in the top right corner on the forum, then click "Edit Profile". Here, on the right side, click "Change Email" and enter the email you want to use and your current password, then click "Submit".
Shortly after, you will receive an email from Plutonium with a link that you must click to verify your email. Click it and you're good to go!

My friend is unable to login or reset his passwordYour friend never actually confirmed his email address and therefore his account does not have an email address assigned to it. He cannot reset the password. Unless he remembers it, the only option is to create a new account.
I suggest using a password manager in the future.

Is plutonium launcher open source?No. We don't take client contributions. All clients, save for GH3, use our bootstrapper.

Is Steam Deck Playable anymore?We do not support Steam Deck. Since every Steam Deck is identical in hardware it's effectively incompatible with our anticheat. Recommend you don't attempt to play on it.
