That error occurs when you try to join someone who is hosting a custom game on Easy Mode Buried. Make sure the host sets the difficulty to Original, then you shouldn't receive that error.

CookieJar Move the game out of Downloads to somewhere else like C:/Games or something, then reselect this folder in game settings of the launcher. What I said above to the other guys doesn't change btw, you've probably selected the wrong folder.

How much time does it take to load a map? If it takes too much time, your PC is probably too slow/old to run the game, I'd suggest upgrading your PC. Although if it loads in lesser than like 20-30 secs and then shows the error, might be high packet loss or just shitty internet connection in general.

Run it
Click "Edit List..."
Click the three dots right of the "enter a process or folder name" field and select "plutonium-launcher-win32.exe" located in "C:\Users\al\AppData\Local\Plutonium\bin"
tick the "force warp" checkbox and select "11_0" from the "feature level limit" dropdown menu
hit ok and try launching the plutonium launcher

Delete the %localappdata%/Plutonium folder as well as the launcher. Redownload it from https://cdn.plutonium.pw/updater/plutonium.exe and run it as admin.

Known issue, please be patient, should be resolved in a few hours.

Delete both the launchers, the original one and the duplicated .new one (if you get an access denied error while trying to delete it, restart your PC) and redownload it from https://cdn.plutonium.pw/updater/plutonium.exe . Then run pluto as admin again.

Everyone on this thread, launch plutonium.exe as admin so it can update the client files. If you're getting that error you're probably launching it directly from %localappdata%/Plutonium/bin.

Firstly, sure you know how to do that. Our anticheat isn't buggy, can actually detect cheats and false positives - if ever happening, happens on a large scale and not just 1 user. No random program would ever inject itself into the bootstrapper, you'd have to specifically do that. All the warnings are in the docs, which you didn't read prior, also not our fault.

Secondly, .... I don't even have a counter to that, your logic is terribly flawed and well, you're a bit dim so even if we'd try explaining it, you wouldn't understand.

Lastly, you just negated your own point. Clearly our anticheat's working as intended, and no it isn't "stolen", rather written from the ground up. "developed by morons with low level coding experience" - You probably wouldn't even be able to compile a hello world script if the source code was right in front of you mate. Cheers!

Type r_fullscreen 0 and vid_restart into the bootstrapper cmd window. You can change it back to your resolution/fullscreen through the settings.

And on a side note, if you have McAffee antivirus, uninstall it. Its causing that.

No you can't. Buy the game from steam if you want campaign.

Tried to hold myself from writing this as long as I could, but couldn't anymore. We're not lying, you're shit at the game. The other players killing you have been playing this game since it came out/for years hence why they know the basic spawns or pathways which are the most common or common camping spots - hence why they preaim and stay cautious while rushing (especially in HC). Another thing is get a headset (not speakers, but headphones) and you can see for yourself how loud you can hear enemy's footsteps when they're around you. Even having dead silence as a perk still generates loud enough footsteps for a decent player to have a general idea of your exact location.

We take player reports seriously but the clips you shared doesn't have anything suspicious in them.
