Run this redist installer this will install all the required redists. Once it finishes install everything restart your PC.

If this still doesn't work download and install Direct X manually from the official Microsoft website.

tsalgadot the exes are provided by Plutonium you don't need to touch it. The only thing to do is follow what the install guide says. Start the launcher, click Setup, choose the game that contains your game files then click Play. FYI the game exes are in %localappdata%\Plutonium\games but again you don't need to open/move them or do anything with them they'll be automatically used by the launcher when clicking Play in the launcher.

This error means the game cannot load certain files because they are missing or broken. This means you either didn't follow the repair guide correctly or you downloaded your files from an unsupported source. If that's the case then I would recommend deleting your current files and downloading the files from a supported source (Steam or the torrent Plutonium provides.

Make sure to follow the install guide correctly and make sure the download is complete (100%) so that you have all the files.

If you got the map by joining a server delete it and install it yourself instead as it's known for causing issues sometimes.
Also make sure there aren't any mod in the Activision mods folder.
You might also repair your game, just in case.
Finally go take a look at the map on the internet (on websites where you can download it), if there are instructions for the map like disabling a certain video settings then do it.

darkestmuffin72 which OS are you using? Plutonium doesn't support Windows 7.

If you're using Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 press Win + R type winver and send a screenshot of the window that opens.
If you're not on Windows 7 you can also try running the Redist Installer to make sure you have all required redists. Place it anywhere, run it and let it finish to install all the redists then restart your PC and try again.

As for plutonium.exe make sure your antivirus isn't blocking it. You can get a fresh copy of the launcher from any install guide on the forum.

jorgeassad there's no aim assist for controllers yet and I can confirm that they're working on it but note that it will be server side. Each server can choose whether they want it enabled or disabled. They'll make an announcement when it's ready or when they have more info.

Deempz as said above there's already a client for all CoD below BO3 and there's no point in having multiple clients for a game. BO3 and above probably won't get a client until a long time because of possible law suits. Also BO3 already has everything a client would add so there's no point in creating a client for it.

ReplikaIcey make sure you followed the guide correctly (host has to be in game). Also the one who joins can join by double clicking on the host name in th Friends List tab in the Plutonium overlay.

Finally make sure your router settings/Windows firewall/Windows antivirus firewall aren't blocking the connection.

Averno117 you didn't select the folder that contains the Black Ops II files in your launcher. You need to select the folder with your game files in it. Click on Game settings next to Play and choose the right folder. If you're 100% sure this is the right folder then repair your game

KrzMcCurdi Plutonium supports playing private/solo/LAN games but doesn't support offline. You need an internet connection to play.
