I am not saying you don't have a point here but everything you listed is possible with lobbies as well. And not all servers are configured like that.

But private matches are listen servers to the very word of their definition. You still have to portforward and they are already joinable (I think) through the friends list in PlutoIW5. The only thing they don't do is to heartbeat.

I think you are looking back at aIW and 4D1 through rose tinted glasses or the players did behave drastically different in your region than they did in mine.

Brigeezy123 I would recommend against doing that.

Rather put your textures inside a images folder compress the folder as zip and then replace .zip with .iwd. Now you just have them place the iwd at %localappdata%\Plutonium\storage\t4\main.

Does it work if you unlock all and play for a round?

Rosamaha did try to build up a small comp scene here, but last I heard was that things don't work out due to the too small player base that is interested in these things.

Change the Volume ingame to whatever you want it in Windows, Treyarch, like many other developers, did pull a lazy meme and just change the volume in Windows...

You are mixing up T4 with T5. The file extension and command you mention is T4. T5 is indeed using .demo files and the command to play them is demo_play.

All AWOG servers do change their map pools based on the player count including the mixed game mode server, it takes one map rotation to apply though.
