When I factory reset my laptop, I reinstalled the plutonium launcher since I had bo2 files on another hard drive but when I try launching it, it freezes on "Fetching update info..." and then a few seconds later it gives me an error saying "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b) Click OK to close the application." I have done everything on this page: https://forum.plutonium.pw/topic/6832/common-launcher-issues-solutions like reinstalling all directx stuff, all redist stuff, and the aio runtimes program. My laptop is definitely meeting the system requirements since I've played plutonium bo2 before and had 50 to 70 fps no issue.
I don't know what reshade is but it said its no longer supported, but I've literally reinstalled the launcher by deleting the localappdata folder called plutonium and installed the plutonium.exe from the website. Can I get any help?

Do you pirate other games often? Some shit repack could've messed with your system files, try opening cmd as admin and typing this:

              dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

Once it's done, restart your PC. If it still doesn't work, I'm outta ideas.

Edit: On another note, go to %localappdata%/Plutonium/bin, what's the size of the bootstrapper? If it's 0KB, then MB isn't respecting user's exclusions and you might have to uninstall that AV.

HannesC nah I dont pirate games. The bootstrapper and launcher are both not 0kb.
I guess it's just my laptop messed up.
