Hostlyy either play in lan mode (arrow next to the play button) or load the menu like this: https://forum.plutonium.pw/topic/6966/how-to-use-a-mod-menu-without-injecting-loading-gsc-scripts-client-sided

If you try to inject anything into the game in online mode you will be banned, doesn't matter if it's in private match or on a public server.

Hostlyy have you started the match?
You can also try the workaround on the bottom of the guide, forward port 4976.

Hostlyy If your friend can host, then just let them host? No need to complicate things any further really. You could try port forwarding as suggested by Dss0.

Hostlyy then the simple answer is you show him the guide on how to install the mods on his side and you will be just fine

Kryptyx loading gsc scripts with the official loading method will never get you banned.
Loading any kind of mod with an external tool while being in LAN mode will never get you banned

Topdude https://plutonium.pw/docs/modding/loading-mods/#t6. if you already have gsc scripts/a mod you can skip everything before step 4.
